For its small size, the Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker puts out some sound awesome. It easily filled both our laboratory test room and the main hall of my apartment with radio streaming from my iPad, coming soon against some larger volume, connected piers AirPlay. He also performed favorably against the Boom of Logitech, and while his sound is more directional than the EU Boom of Logitech and its 360-degree audio field, the Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker put out more power and it looked just as good put against a wall and in front of the whole room.
The Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker quite cannot put out the light, strong bass of his elder brother, but can certainly hold its own. When you play our test track, The Knife ' Silent Shout, "SoundLink Mini solid product notes sound deep synth intro of the song, but occasionally appears hinted at potential for minimum distortion at maximum volume. While the bass made the speaker the same shake, its small size limited its ability to produce real bass shakes the walls, although glare and hard riffs of Daft Punk, "Robot Rock" produced a suitably soundscape sound great, filling our rehearsal room.
Medium-high and medium are the biggest strengths of Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker and "Wires" Red Fang sounded surprisingly clear and impactful. Aggressive guitar riffs and crisp drums track usually drown out the voice, but all three elements have worked well together here easily bumped off the text without feeling like they were getting overwhelmed or flattened riffs. Performance of SoundLink Mini solid medium-high gave a slight edge over the EU Boom of Logitech, which may sound a bit tinny in comparison.

Pros
- Excellent, compact design
- Good sound quality
- Included charging dock
Cons
- Doesn't charge via micro-USB
- Aluminium finish prone to light scratches
- Accessories are expensive
Conclusion
Bose SoundLink Mini is a powerhouse unimpressive that produces clear, solid sound. And it might be lacking in bass punch the SoundLink speaker and offer other larger, more expensive, but for its size and price that offers great performance. Charging stand is useful, if not enough are flexible micro-USB charging as it would have been. And while it lacks a function of speakerphone, offers some of the best all-around sound quality that we saw in its class, making it our Editors ' Choice for Portable Bluetooth speakers. If you want a slightly more versatile design and the ability to upload with a microUSB cable, the EU Boom is a solid alternative that offers comparable, if not very large, high-quality audio.
